Payment Terms for Horizon Olympiad

 

1. Separate Payments for Each Category

 

Each category requires an individual payment. Please refer to the fee table provided above for the detailed registration fee. Once payment has been processed for any exam, it is final and non-refundable by Horizon Olympiad.

 

2. No Refunds for Missed Exams

 

If a student is unable to attend the exam due to unforeseen circumstances, no alternative exams will be offered, nor will any refunds be issued for missed exams.

No exceptions will be made by Horizon Olympiad.

Participation in Multiple Categories

 

Students may choose to participate in exams across multiple categories, with the potential to earn multiple medals. Separate payments are mandatory for each category selected by the student.

 

Handling Payment Issues

 

• Payment issues may arise due to connectivity problems, your bank, or the payment interface itself. If such an issue arises:
  Confirm Payment: First, verify whether the funds have been deducted from your bank or card account. If no payment has been processed, please retry the transaction.
• Undisputed Payment: If funds have been deducted but your payment isn’t reflected, immediately contact Horizon Olympiad through the contact form for resolution.
• Duplicate Payments: In cases where a duplicate payment is made for the same exam, the second payment will be refunded after deducting the transaction fee.

 

Refunds for Duplicate Payments

 

• If a teacher and a student separately make payments for two different accounts created on behalf of the student:

• Refunds will be issued by Horizon Olympiad with deductions of $6 for the Coding category and Mathematics category to account for the transaction fees charged by Stripe payment system.
   

One Account per Student

 

• It is imperative that each student maintains only one account for registration and payment. Horizon Olympiad will not process or accept multiple accounts for the same student.
