EXAM AND PROJECT CONDITIONS

 

For Subjects having Qualification Online Exam: Math and Coding

 

1.      A single round of exams will be conducted ONLINE for all categories (mentioned above), and evaluations will be made based on the results of these exams for Global Round.

2.       A separate payment is required for each subject exam chosen in the Qualification Round 

3.      Before selecting a category and making a payment, it is important to verify the exam dates and times.

4.      Participants can take the Qualification Exams on any scheduled date and in any combination of categories.

5.     Once an exam has been paid for, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

6.      It is not possible to change the exam category after payment has been received.

7.      The exams will take place through the Bestys platform, and there will be no supplementary exam links distributed via email.

8.      The exam language is English for all categories.

 

For Subjects having Qualification Online Registration: Robotics, Art, Short Film and Science

 

1.      These subjects (Robotics, Art, Short Film, and Science) require online Project registration to qualify for the Global Round.

2.      A separate payment of $40 is required for each project.

3.      The project fee cannot be canceled or refunded Once the project fee has been paid.

4.      All projects must be submitted in English.


 

Qualification Round for Online Exam

 

All students who participate in the Horizon Olympiad will receive a digital certificate of participation.

Distribution Rates of Digital Medals and Digital Achievement Certificates for each Grade and Category:

 

  1. The top 15% of the participants will receive a Digital Gold Medal Certificate and a Digital Achievement Certificate.
  2. The next 15 – 30% of the participants will receive a Digital Silver Medal Certificate and a Digital Achievement Certificate.
  3.  The next 30 – 65% of the participants will receive a Digital Bronze Medal Certificate and a Digital Achievement Certificate.
  4. The next 65 – 85% of the participants will receive a Digital Honorable Medal Certificate and a Digital Achievement Certificate.
  5. The last 85 – 100% of the participants will receive Digital Participation Certificates only.


 

Qualification Round and Global Round Categories

 

1.      There are no age restrictions. Students must register according to their current grade level, irrespective of their school year of enrollment.
